Reimagining healthcare from the ground up
"Imagine a healthcare system you wished you were born into, one that starts beyond your body—from the ground up, from Mother Earth," urged Faiz during his opening remarks. This sentiment formed the philosophical foundation of Solaris Healthcare's approach, which integrates care for environmental wellbeing with personal health outcomes.

"We've heard about Costa Rica as a medical hub, but we see El Salvador as the next go-to medical tourism country," Faiz stated, referencing testimonials from patients who had relocated from the United States specifically to access Solaris's services.
Dr. Carolina Umanzor, a dentist by training and Faiz's partner in developing Solaris, spoke passionately about the quality of care being delivered. "As a dentist, I feel so happy receiving my patients with a different approach—not only to fix or cover one problem, my real mission with them is to offer one integral option from the most deep in their health."
Technology meets tradition: the sovereign tech stack
What distinguishes Solaris from other holistic healthcare initiatives is its integration of decentralised technology, including Bitcoin-based solutions. "We're talking about decentralised health and decentralised wealth," Faiz explained. "But something exists called decentralised ID and decentralised finance. That's taking Bitcoin beyond just monetary value to use it within an ecosystem of healing."
The initiative has launched a pilot programme offering comprehensive health assessments and personalised meal plans to between 50 and 100 participants free of charge, demonstrating the practical application of their holistic approach.
